Meet Dr. J

Dr.  Karen R. Jacobson received her Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1992.

While practicing in East Meadow, NY she continued her post graduate work in the area of sports as well as well as pregnancy care obtaining her post graduate degree as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP)  and a certification in “Webster Technique”.  In addition, she has attended various classes focusing on pediatric care, including special needs children and the child athlete. She has completed all classroom hours towards her Certified Chiropractic Wellness Provider. Dr. Jacobson is a level II Usui Reiki practitioner practicing under Reiki Master and Spiritual teacher Meria Heller.

In 1998 Dr. Jacobson relocated to Arizona and opened a Family Wellness practice serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix, Fountain Hills & Paradise Valley communities; caring for newborns to elderly with an emphasis on athletes.

Dr Jacobson is a long time member of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the first female Chiropractor from Arizona to serve as a State Representative to the ICA Assembly.

In 2006 she was recognized for her outstanding contribution and service to the Chiropractic profession; she was honored as a Fellow of the International Chiropractors Association (FICA)

She is a member of the North Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce (NSCC), founding member of Jewish Business Network (JBN) and The National Business Experts

Dr. Jacobson has been published and featured in various magazines such as AZ Health Magazine, Green Living AZ, New Living and Kaleidoscope, The Scottsdale Tribune, Parenting Magazine, Raising Arizona Kids.

She has been a guest speaker on “The New Health Show”, “Speaking Now”, the “Meria Heller Show” and on Channel 12 News speaking to the effects of Backpack safety and Chiropractic care for children.

Dr Jacobson is currently the official Chiropractor and Wellness advisor to “Healthy U” TV show airing Saturdays at 1:00pm on Cox 7 AZ and available for presentations and speaking engagements.
